Jon Lee Brody was screen testing for supergirl, she was filming a movie I was helping produce called “Band of Robbers”. At one point, dailies were sent to CBS so they could see what Melissa was doing on our film. Not long after that she got the part.

Melissa and Chyler were totally made for the roles that they portrayed and are portraying as sisters Kara and Alex Danvers. They have the perfect chemistry and real life closeness as good friends to make their characters come alive and be so authentic and natural that they make the sibling relationship on the show look so effortless, easy and genuine. They have each other's backs at all times on and off the TV screen and that in itself is fantastic!
