You see this face? This glow? That is @natashabehnam all the damn time. She plays Lola on TheGirlsOnTheBus a young soul who throws every ounce of herself into journalism because of her drive to tell the truth and what she’s endured. First, I have to say again- This cast!? This CASTING!? Second THIS MFING WRITING!? I had the honor to direct the seventh episode of this series that is now streaming on @hbomaxes. When Natasha and started filming the scene where she burst into her parent’s home she said- “Wait- I don’t think- has there ever been anIranian-American family shown on TV before?!?” This is one of what I hope will be many in the future. It is incredibly important that we see one another. That is when we can learn and understand. It makes all the difference in the world.
